Chris Wright Gets NBA Shot

Trotwood's Chris Wright will be playing his first NBA season game on Christmas day in California. Wright, who led the Trotwood Rams to the state basketball tournament two years in a row, got the call up on December 10th. He has been working out with the Golden State Warriors in Oakland California and was retained by the team after an impressive show in their preseason.

Wright will retain his old Trotwood jersey number '33' on the new uniform. He also played under the '33' during his four years at the University of Dayton.

The Warriors will face the LA Clippers on December 25th at 7:30. The game is scheduled to air live on ESPN. The Clippers were undefeated in both their preseason appearances while the Warriors lost their only preseason outing to the Kings.

You can follow the links to the complete season schedule from Wright's player page http://www.nba.com/playerfile/chris_wright/index.html?nav=page

What a great Christmas present for Chris and all his friends in Trotwood.
